Who You’re Working With
I’m Anna LaRee Koehn, the ‘ALK’ behind The Alkemy Collective. When I started this business in 2025, it was because I wanted to take the skills I’d developed over the past decade plus working in marketing and creative roles and use them to help aspiring entrepreneurs make their dream business more than just a dream.
While I knew that starting a solo-business would be challenging, what I didn’t expect was that the challenges that really kept me stuck weren’t just the logistical ones, ie: writing your own copy, building a website, setting up business tools and workflows, yada yada.
I’m talking about the more insidious ones you can’t touch, but can most certainly feel — the impostor syndrome, the self-doubt, the perfectionism, the incredible overwhelm, and the comparison trap that can lead to total paralyzation. (It took me more months than I care to admit to get beyond a “coming soon” version of my own website…the freeze is real, I get it.)
In a loud and competitive world of aggressive, anxiety-inducing marketing and business advice, so many founders - especially us sensitives - feel like they're constantly behind or doing it wrong. And though I’ve certainly been whipped up into that vortex many times, I have always been convinced there are other ways to successfully build a heart-led business that won’t ask you to abandon yourself or the way that you operate.
Build From The Inside Out
The more I started seeking the spaces, places, and people that took a gentler approach — that valued slower, sustainable business growth, that believed in the power of alignment and simplicity vs. force and hustle, the more I found them. And the more examples there were, the more I wanted to be a part of this calmer business revolution: To commit to finding ways to build, and help others build, intentional businesses that don’t immediately set us up for burn out.
Yes, The Alkemy Collective exists to help soloprenuers achieve brand and messaging clarity, and to develop a cohesive and professional online presence that deeply resonates with those they’re here to help. But it’s become more than that. Beyond the website builds and the brand discovery workshops is a deeply rooted desire to be a supportive guide that helps you turn the dial WAY down on the external noise and tap into what you already have access to — the rich and potent life force that generated your business vision in the first place.
Because that’s the place no one else can replicate from. That’s the wellspring that is entirely unique to each individual, and really the only way you’ll truly connect with your people. I’m just here to help bring some structure and form to what you came here to express and do.
